Our First Ever Latte Art Throwdown Announced!
For those of you who haven’t worked in shops before, or just never made it to a barista throwdown, here’s your chance to catch up on what you’ve been missing. If you have been and miss them, well this is for you too!
Although I have never competed in a Latte art contest (sorry, they weren’t really a thing when I started 18 years ago lol)., I view them as a great way to reward hard working baristas, push beginners to hone their craft, and also to introduce your shop to the baristas in your area. We opened in the middle of a pandemic so unfortunately weren’t really able to host this type of public event, but now we want to make up for it.
Sarah Boden, our barista trainer has been hard at work getting together some really sweet prizes and we extremely grateful for the opportunity to host this event for our fellows baristas.
